Come Alive (Dry Bones) – Lauren Daigle
When I first heard this song I didn’t really like it. All I could hear was the chorus “As we call out to dry bones, come alive, come alive”. The lyrics and emphasis didn’t resonate with me and it seemed showy so I put up my bias filters whenever the song would play and I categorized it as ‘meh’.
It wasn’t until months later as I drove down the road listening to the song with my ‘bias filters’ off did I hear beyond the chorus and realize what the lyrics were saying. It’s now a favorite song.
“Through the eyes of men it seems there is so much we have lost,
as we look down the road where all the prodigals have walked…”“We know there is more to come,
that we may not yet see…”“So with the faith you’ve given us
we”ll step into the valley unafraid…”As we call out to dry bones,
Come alive…
As we call out to dead hearts,
Come alive!“By your spirit breath upon them
show the world you alone can save,
you alone can save.”

It is only by going through a volume of work that you will close that gap, and your work will be as good as your ambitions.

We Believe Sung By Lauren Daigle
Although more of a Easter song I can’t help sharing it at Christmas time.

Christmas 2014 – Light Of The World
Last Christmas I discovered this song and I’ve spent all year listening to it, again, and again, and again, waiting for Christmas.
He is the song for the suffering, He is messiah, The Prince of Peace has come
…
For all who wait…
For all who hunger…
For all who’ve prayed…
For all who wonder…
Behold your King.
Behold Messiah.
