Spring Has Sprung and Summer Has Come
Summer is here, regardless of what the calendar may show. In the course of a single night the large trees went from having only buds to visible green leaflets. To me it was a quiet and peaceful morning but obviously natures clock was ringing loud and the trees responded to the season’s call.
First Magnolia Blooms Of 2010
Several days of March rain showers have coaxed the signs of wonderful color from the earth.
Up until this point what I thought were Dogwood trees are actually Magnolia trees. Behold, the first blooming Magnolia tree of the year.
First Flowers of 2010
The first wonderful warm and sunny weekend of 2010 presented a surprise, flowers! Spring is close and I grow excited with expectation of seeing the beautiful flowering dogwood trees.
